Terms of useشروط الاستخدام

Using Cinra

You can use Cinra without an account; your diary stays on your iPhone. These terms apply when you use the app or this website. If you don't agree with them, please don't use Cinra.

Accounts

An account is optional and lets you comment, follow people and share your profile. You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what's posted from your account. Usernames that pretend to be Cinra, its staff or another person are not allowed, and we may change or reclaim them.

What you post

Comments, photos, GIFs, your profile and anything else you share stay yours. By posting, you let Cinra store and show them to the people you chose (everyone, your followers, or only you), and nothing more. Only post what you have the right to share.

Do not post:

• harassment, bullying, threats or hate towards anyone;
• nudity, sexual content, or violent or shocking images;
• other people's private information, or your own passwords and contact details;
• spam, ads, links to piracy, or anything illegal;
• spoilers without switching on "Contains spoilers".

Reports, blocks and removals

You can report a comment or a person, and block anyone; blocked people can't see your profile or comments. We review reports, and we may hide or remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, with or without warning. If you think we got it wrong, email us.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account. This removes your profile, comments, follows and everything else stored with your account on our servers. Your diary on your iPhone is not affected.

Movie and show information

Titles, posters and details come from TMDB, and ratings from OMDb. Cinra uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We can't promise this information is always complete or correct.

No guarantees

Cinra is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep a backup of your diary (Settings > Backup & Restore). As far as the law allows, Cinra is not responsible for losses that come from using it.

Changes

We may update these terms as Cinra grows. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app or on this page, with the new date at the top.
