The waitlist

If you join the waitlist on cinra.app, we store the email address you enter. If you choose to answer, we also store which phone you use and what you use to track movies today. We store your language and which version of the page you signed up on too. This is kept in a database on Cloudflare. We use it only to tell you when Cinra launches and to understand what people want.

It is never sold or shared. Every email we send includes a way to be removed. You can also email support@cinra.app at any time and we will delete your entry.

Your library stays on your device

Everything you log in Cinra (movies, shows, episodes, ratings, notes, lists, your profile name and photo) is stored on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to us. If you turn on automatic backups, Cinra writes a backup file to a folder you choose (for example iCloud Drive); that file is handled by Apple or the storage provider you picked, not by us.

Looking up movies and shows

To show posters, details and search results, Cinra asks TMDB (The Movie Database) through a small server we run on Cloudflare. That server only passes the request along (for example "search: dune" or "details for movie 693134") and adds our API key. IMDb ratings are fetched the same way from the OMDb API. These requests don't include your name, your library, or any account, because there isn't one.

Like any website, Cloudflare and TMDB see the IP address a request comes from, briefly, to deliver it and protect the service from abuse. We don't build profiles from it or keep logs tied to you.

Importing your history

When you import from Letterboxd, Trakt, TV Time or a Cinra backup, the file is read on your iPhone. To match titles faster, Cinra may send a title, its year and whether it's a movie or a show (for example "inception, 2010, movie") to our shared matching service, which answers with the TMDB number for that title and learns confirmed matches. Nothing that identifies you, and nothing about the rest of your library, is sent.

Permissions

• Notifications: only if you turn them on, to tell you when shows you watch have new episodes. Scheduled on your iPhone.
• Calendar: only if you turn it on, to add upcoming episodes to a calendar of their own on your device.
• Photos: only when you pick a profile photo or save an image you shared. Cinra only sees the photo you choose.

Crash reports

Cinra uses Apple's built-in diagnostics (MetricKit). Reports are saved on your iPhone and are never sent to us. If you share them with Apple through your iPhone's settings, Apple's privacy policy applies.

Children

The Cinra app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children. The website's waitlist stores only the email address someone chooses to enter, and it isn't meant for children under 13.

Deleting your data

Settings → Reset app data deletes everything Cinra stores on your iPhone. Deleting the app does the same. Backup files you saved to your own folder stay there until you delete them.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.

مكتبتك تبقى على جهازك

كل ما تسجّله في Cinra (الأفلام والمسلسلات والحلقات والتقييمات والملاحظات والقوائم، واسم ملفك الشخصي وصورته) مخزَّن على جهاز iPhone الخاص بك، ولا يُرفع إلينا. وإذا فعّلت النسخ الاحتياطي التلقائي، يكتب Cinra ملف نسخة احتياطية في مجلد تختاره أنت (مثل iCloud Drive)، وتتولى Apple أو مزوّد التخزين الذي اخترته التعامل مع هذا الملف، لا نحن.

البحث عن الأفلام والمسلسلات

لعرض الملصقات والتفاصيل ونتائج البحث، يطلب Cinra البيانات من TMDB (قاعدة بيانات الأفلام The Movie Database) عبر خادم صغير نشغّله على Cloudflare. يكتفي هذا الخادم بتمرير الطلب (مثل «بحث: dune» أو «تفاصيل الفيلم 693134») وإضافة مفتاح API الخاص بنا. وتُجلب تقييمات IMDb بالطريقة نفسها من OMDb API. لا تتضمن هذه الطلبات اسمك ولا مكتبتك ولا أي حساب، لأنه لا يوجد حساب أصلًا.

مثل أي موقع إلكتروني، يرى Cloudflare وTMDB عنوان IP الذي يأتي منه الطلب، لوقت قصير، لتسليم الطلب وحماية الخدمة من إساءة الاستخدام. نحن لا نبني منه ملفات تعريفية ولا نحتفظ بسجلات مرتبطة بك.

استيراد سجلّك

عند الاستيراد من Letterboxd أو Trakt أو TV Time أو من نسخة احتياطية من Cinra، يُقرأ الملف على جهاز iPhone الخاص بك. ولمطابقة العناوين بشكل أسرع، قد يرسل Cinra عنوانًا وسنة صدوره وما إذا كان فيلمًا أو مسلسلًا (مثل «inception, 2010, movie») إلى خدمة المطابقة المشتركة لدينا، فترد برقم TMDB لذلك العنوان وتتعلم المطابقات المؤكدة. لا يُرسل أي شيء يعرّف بك، ولا أي شيء عن بقية مكتبتك.

الأذونات

• الإشعارات: فقط إذا فعّلتها، لإبلاغك عندما تصدر حلقات جديدة للمسلسلات التي تتابعها. تُجدوَل على جهاز iPhone الخاص بك.
• التقويم: فقط إذا فعّلته، لإضافة الحلقات القادمة إلى تقويم مستقل خاص بها على جهازك.
• الصور: فقط عندما تختار صورة لملفك الشخصي أو تحفظ صورة شاركتها. لا يرى Cinra إلا الصورة التي تختارها.

تقارير الأعطال

يستخدم Cinra أدوات التشخيص المدمجة من Apple (MetricKit). تُحفظ التقارير على جهاز iPhone الخاص بك ولا تُرسل إلينا أبدًا. وإذا شاركتها مع Apple من خلال إعدادات جهازك، فإن سياسة الخصوصية الخاصة بـ Apple هي التي تسري.

الأطفال

لا يجمع تطبيق Cinra أي معلومات شخصية من أي شخص، بما في ذلك الأطفال. أما قائمة الانتظار على الموقع فتخزّن فقط عنوان البريد الإلكتروني الذي يختار الشخص إدخاله، وهي غير موجّهة للأطفال دون سن 13 عامًا.

حذف بياناتك

الإعدادات ← إعادة ضبط بيانات التطبيق تحذف كل ما يخزّنه Cinra على جهاز iPhone الخاص بك. وحذف التطبيق يفعل الشيء نفسه. أما ملفات النسخ الاحتياطي التي حفظتها في مجلدك الخاص فتبقى هناك حتى تحذفها أنت.

التغييرات

إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة، فستُنشر النسخة الجديدة هنا مع تاريخ جديد.
